This Delivery and Returns Policy governs the sale of waterproofing coatings and advanced waterproofing technology products (“Products”) by Lavraki Imports Exports Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Cyprus under registration number ΗΕ 423830 with its registered office at Asfaleias 9b, Lakatamia 2326, Cyprus, through the website www.waterproofing.cy (“Website”). This policy outlines delivery procedures and your rights regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with Cyprus law and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

Governing Law: This policy and any purchases made through the Website are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
2. Delivery
- Delivery Area: We currently deliver Products to addresses within the Republic of Cyprus. Please contact us if you require delivery outside this area to check feasibility.
- Delivery Times: We aim to dispatch orders within
3 working days of order confirmation. Estimated delivery times are typically 1 - 7 working days after dispatch but may vary depending on the specific location and courier operations. We will notify you of any significant delays. - Delivery Costs: Delivery costs are calculated based on the weight/volume of the order and the delivery address. The exact cost will be displayed during the checkout process before you confirm your order.
- Order Tracking: Where available, tracking information will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
- Receipt of Delivery: Please inspect packages upon delivery. If any damage is apparent, please note this with the carrier upon receipt or refuse delivery if the damage is severe. Contact us immediately at info@waterproofing.cy regarding any delivery issues or damage in transit.
3. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
- Your Right: In line with EU and Cypriot consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from your online purchase contract within 14 calendar days without providing any reason.
- Withdrawal Period: The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you (or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier) acquires physical possession of the purchased Product(s). For orders with multiple Products delivered separately, the period expires 14 days after you receive the last item.

Your notification must be sent before the 14-day withdrawal period expires.
- Conditions for Return upon Withdrawal:
- Products must be returned without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal.
- Products must be returned unused, complete, and in a resalable condition. They should preferably be in their original, unopened packaging where appropriate for the product type (e.g., sealed containers of coatings).
- You are liable for any diminished value of the Products resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the Products. Opening sealed containers may significantly diminish value or render them non-returnable if it compromises the product integrity or safety (see Exceptions).
- Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal: The right of withdrawal may not apply to:
- Products made to your specifications or clearly personalized .
- Sealed Products (e.g., specific chemical coatings, sealants) which are not suitable for return due to health protection or safety reasons if they become unsealed after delivery.
- Products which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.
- Refund upon Withdrawal: If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of standard initial delivery (excluding supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us). This reimbursement will be made without undue delay, and not later than 14 days from the day we are informed about your decision to withdraw, or upon receiving the returned goods back, whichever is sooner. The refund will be processed using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise.
- Return Shipping Costs upon Withdrawal: You are responsible for bearing the direct cost of returning the Products when exercising your right of withdrawal.
4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods (Legal Guarantee)
- Your Rights: Your purchase is covered by a legal guarantee of conformity under Cypriot law (implementing EU directives). If a Product is defective, damaged upon arrival (not due to mishandling after receipt), does not conform to the description, or is otherwise faulty, you have statutory rights. These typically include the right to request, free of charge:
- Repair or Replacement.
- An appropriate price reduction.
- A full refund (rescission of the contract).
- Reporting Issues: Please contact us immediately at info@waterproofing.cy upon discovering any fault, providing your order details and a description (and preferably photographic evidence) of the issue. For damage evidently caused during transit, please report it as soon as possible after delivery.
- Return of Faulty Goods: If a return is necessary due to a fault or non-conformity covered by the legal guarantee, we will provide instructions for the return and will typically cover the reasonable costs of return shipping.
5. General Refund & Exchange Process
- Inspection: Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund/exchange request based on the policy conditions.
- Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within approximately
15 working days, depending on your bank or card issuer. - Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received an expected refund, first re-check your bank account. Then contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times can vary. If you’ve done this and still haven’t received the refund, please contact us at info@waterproofing.cy.
- Sale Items: Items purchased at a reduced sale price are fully covered by the legal guarantee against faults. Any specific exclusion of refunds for sale items applies only to the 14-day Right of Withdrawal (change of mind), where explicitly stated for that specific sale.
- Exchanges: We primarily replace items if they are defective or damaged under the legal guarantee. If you need an exchange for the exact same item under these circumstances, contact us at info@waterproofing.cy and follow the return instructions provided. Exchanges for reasons other than defects (e.g., ordering the wrong item) are subject to the Right of Withdrawal policy terms.
6. Gifts
- If an item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to the recipient, the recipient will receive a gift credit for the value of the return upon successful processing (subject to policy conditions).
- If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, or the purchaser had it shipped to themselves first, any refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

Initial shipping costs are non-refundable, except for the standard delivery cost reimbursement under the Right of Withdrawal.
- Packaging & Tracking: Please ensure Products are adequately packaged for return transit. For higher-value items, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and considering shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items that are lost in transit without proof of tracking.
